Leg rebroken, reset, and recasted. No pins and no adverse reaction to the anesthesia. Niko is home, on Lortab, and we begin the six weeks of casting from square one. I'm very relieved that they didn't have to open him.

Mercedes, you are truly a strong woman! I admire you a lot. I'm sorry that this has been such an ordeal for you. Let me know if I can do anything. We also want to get together for one last lunch before I leave, do you think that would be possible? Leslie said next Wed, Thur, or Fri would be good. Devin could watch the kids if need be. Give me a call when you get a minute, or email, that works too. Always remember that there are people out there praying for you.
